Southern Star & Six Flags Trip Info
We are excited about our Southern Star competition/Six Flags trip on Saturday, May 6th. Here are the details:
Southern Star Date: Sat, May 6th
Southern Star Music Festival & Six Flags Trip
Payment #2: $70, (or less if your student sold WFC)
due next Wednesday, May 3rd.
(absolute deadline is Thursday, May 4th, or they won’t be able to attend as the Booster does not have enough funds at the end of the year to cover any student cost)
Chaperones will need a ticket as well, but the booster club will pay for part of this.
The remaining cost to chaperones is just $40, and for your time, you’ll receive two Six Flags tickets, one for May 6th and then another to use any day of the remaining season.
Schedule:
9:00am: Meet @ CHS (most students will already be at the lock-in)
9:30am: Load charter buses to leave
10:45am: Arrive at Riverside EpiCenter to check-in
11:30am: Lunch at the EpiCenter
12:45pm: CHS Chorus performance
1:00pm: Head to Six Flags
7:00pm: Awards Ceremony at Six Flags
then load buses to return home
9:00pm: Arrive at CHS for pick-up
Cost per student:
$100 (students have already paid $30, and need to just bring the balance by Wed. May 3rd)
What does the $100 include? Festival registration, meal deal for one meal at Six Flags (we’ll use it for dinner), 2 Six Flags tickets, t-shirt
(for lunch, we will eat at the EpiCenter, so students should bring about $10 to cover their lunch, unless they want to share pizza with a friend)
