Large Group Performance Evaluations 2021

DATE: THURSDAY, MARCH 25 during school (Although parents will not be allowed to attend this event, we look forward to performing these pieces for you at our Spring concert near the end of April (specific date TBA very soon).

DESCRIPTION: OUR CHORAL GROUPS PERFORM TWO CHORAL SELECTIONS FOR A JUDGE AND RECEIVE SCORES BASED ON THEIR PERFORMANCE. THEY WILL ALSO SIGHTREAD A SMALL SECTION OF MUSIC AND BE JUDGED ON THAT AS WELL. 
​This is such a good experience for everyone involved.  The students look forward to performing and the constructive feedback from the judges is always helpful.

CONCERT ATTIRE:

Women :: Concert Attire

• Black Dress OR Black top (at least short or ¾ length sleeves) & Black pants
• Black Dress Flats (no more than a 1” heel)
• NO flashy jewelry (small studs are okay)
• Hair pulled away from face (½ up, ½ down) 

Men :: Concert Attire - DIFFERENT FROM NORMAL, NO TUX THIS YEAR

• Black, long-sleeved button down dress shirt
• ​Black dress pants
• Black Dress Shoes & Black Socks
• Contact Mrs. Bassett ASAP if you need assistance in finding concert attire, as you cannot perform without it. 

Concert Attire Don’ts: 

• Don’t come to a concert without your clean concert attire on 
• ​Don’t wear strong perfume/cologne 
• Don’t wear sandals
• Don’t wear your hair in a distracting way

10:00: Advanced Mixed warm-ups (CHORUS ROOM)
10:15: Advanced Mixed performs (THEATER)
10:35: Advanced Mixed sightreads (CHORUS ROOM)
