WE WILL WEAR OUR CONCERT BLACK TO PERFORM.

- Performance Attire: Concert Black (same as our regular concerts) and black shoes
- Toiletries (toothbrush, shampoo, deodorant, etc.)
- Any first-aid
- Medications must be given to Mrs. Bassett:
- Please fill out one form for each medication (CLICK HERE for printable form)
- Only the dosages needed for the trip should be brought, and they must be in their original containers. For example, if a student needs to take an allergy pill at night, only 2 pills should be sent & they must be in the original container. Nurse Ingram stressed that medication that is not in the original container cannot be administered during the trip.
- Swimsuit (in case there is time to swim in the hotel pool)
- Sleepwear
- Light Jacket
- Weather appropriate clothes (also school appropriate) for 3 days
- Sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses or hat, etc.
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Small bag for the park
- Blanket & pillow for the bus ride
- Ear buds if you want them for the bus ride
Spending money: $150+
- Money to cover lunch & dinner on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.
- Breakfast is included in the trip fee.
- Any souvenirs or snacks you want in the park.

Extenuating Circumstances
There is always the possibility of the unexpected happening. If you have health issues of any kind that could require special assistance while on the trip, you need to communicate these matters to Mrs. Bassett. You need to have a plan in place for how this should be dealt with in a way that makes it possible for Mrs. Bassett to remain in charge of the entire group. There are over 75 people travelling with this group and additional parents who plan to drive up and experience this with us. In addition to communicating any issues with Mrs. Bassett, your chaperone also needs this information in advance.
Medication must be administered by Mrs. Ingram each day.
Please be proactive in planning for this trip. With special needs of any kind, plans need to be made in advance. Hopefully, nothing will go “wrong”, but leading a group this LARGE is a tremendous responsibility. It is important that this is considered when planning ahead to ensure the needs of one and the needs of the rest of the group are all met in a satisfactory manner. - Chaperones and students will save the cell phone numbers of their group in their phone, along with any other important numbers they will need while on the trip.
- Students will check in with their chaperone every hour (on the hour) through text or face-to-face depending on the circumstances. The first time a student forgets to check in with a chaperone, they will receive a warning. The next time a student fails to check in with their chaperone, they will remain with their chaperone in the parks for the remainder of the trip.
- Students must be in groups of 3 or more while in the parks or in the hotel.
Supervision in the Hotel
- Students should never be completely alone in the hotel or anywhere on the trip.
- Students should not visit a hotel room of the opposite gender or someone they are romantically involved with at any time during the trip.
- Students found in a “compromising” situation will be dealt with when we return to school grounds. SCHOOL RULES APPLY WHILE ON A FIELD TRIP. Students, please make good decisions. Do not create a situation that requires intervention and takes away from the experience that everyone else expects to enjoy. Your decisions impact others, both in good and bad ways. Make good choices and the trip will be a success for everyone involved.
- Keep in mind that we are guests in the hotel along with other paying customers. Keep your voices down and be respectful of others. Everyone wants to have a good time while on the trip not just you in your own way.
- Students are expected to treat chaperones and any adult with respect.

- Don’t be late. Plan ahead.
- LISTEN TO INSTRUCTIONS, so that you know WHERE to be and WHEN to be there.
