Gwinnett Stripers National Anthem Trip

Two more important reminders if your student is going with us this Thursday:
- Coolray Field is now cashless inside the park, so be sure to send your student with a credit/debit card.
- If you are planning to drive to Coolray Field and park, parking is $5 (CREDIT/DEBIT only)
Parents/Guardians,
If your student will be traveling with us to Coolray Field to sing the National Anthem at the start of the Gwinnett Stripers game on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, please read this info..
On that day, students should wear their new CHORUS T-SHIRT and school appropriate pants or shorts. (T-shirts will be distributed in class on Wednesday.)
At the end of the school day on Thursday, students will report to the CHORUS ROOM for a meeting and brief rehearsal. Then we will travel to Chestatee Academy to rehearse with the middle school students.
Following the rehearsal, students will load the bus and we'll depart Chestatee Academy at 4:45 PM.
If you are also traveling to the game, you may either follow our bus (we'll depart from Chestatee Academy, not the High School @ 4:45), or meet us down at Coolray Field.
Once we arrive at Coolray Field (between 5:15 - 5:30), STUDENTS AND FAMILY MEMBERS will gather TOGETHER outside the gate. At that point, tickets will be distributed.
Coolray Field has a CLEAR BAG POLICY . If the bag is not clear, it will not be allowed through the gate. Additionally, water bottles are NOT ALLOWED (unless they are empty upon entering the venue).
Students will need money for dinner/treats/souvenirs. CLICK HERE to see the food options. Students usually end up purchasing at least a meal and something sweet. The food prices are "ballpark" prices. I suggest $20-$40. Please send a credit/debit card, as the park is now cashless.
We will stay for most of the game and then head back to CHESTATEE HIGH SCHOOL. We plan to be back at the school between 9:30-9:45pm.
For students with parents/guardians in attendance, you can sign your student out with Mrs. Bassett before the rest of the chorus loads the bus to leave. They may ride home with you as long as you have signed them out first.
I MUST have a permission form on file for this trip. I distributed permission forms on Friday (except to 4th period, which I will give out on Monday). You may also print a copy here:
